Proto Type Exhibition

Letterpress Letterpress & Foiling Typoretum

Proto Type was a typography exhibition held in Colchester between May and June 2011. Here is the letterpress printed flyer for the exhibition expertly printed by Justin Knopp of Typoretum.

Along with hand-typeset Granby Light (by Stephenson Blake), Prisma, Castellar, Gill Sans Titling & Gill Floriated are laser-cut blocks of wood type.

Typoretum Prototype 2

500 copies were letterpressed onto a mixture of card stocks – 300 copies on 300gsm Somerset Textured 300gsm, 100 copies on 425gsm Bockingford White NOT & 100 copies on 425gsm Saunders Waterford NOT High White.
